New Old Pictures

These pictures were taken back when we were living in Cayucos by an old friend. I just love them and don't think I've shared them before.

Scott, Jenny and Mia's Thanksgiving Visit

Uncle Scott, Aunt Jenny and Cousin Mia made a 13 hour trek from Pacifica to Boise to spend Thanksgiving week with us. It was so nice to be together. Having them here really made me long for family. The kids also loved being together. They played non-stop and Emerson has been talking about it since they left.

Both Quinn and Emerson loved having Cousin Mia around. Emerson has been talking about her since she left. I think Quinn enjoyed getting to play with all Em's toys because he was too distracted to care. Each time Quinn picked up a Spiderman or Batman toy, she'd get this sly look on her face as if to say, "Can you believe I'm holding this and Em's isn't hollering about it?" Having Mia around was fun in so many ways.


Are they up to something?

Mia liked having a more realistic doll to take care of. She was very sweet with Quinn.


We headed up to the snow for a while on Thanksgiving Day. It was pretty chilly, so when the kids started to complain of achey limbs we headed home for turkey.
