Getting acquainted with Miles City, Montana

Here's Em getting ready for story time at the library. It's every Tuesday and Thursday morning and packed with kids and parents. There's also craft time after, which helps meet my daily craft need. I've made a few friends there and have been hanging out with them a few times a week. It's nice to have friends again.

The Wibaux Park "frog pond" wading pool. I walk and Em rides his Skuut to the frog pond a few times a week. It's been hot (95 - 100 degrees) since we got here and this is a nice place to cool off.

Emerson loves the swings at Wibaux Park. He says, "Push me high like a space shuttle (his new favorite toy), higher, higher mommy!"

Strevell St. is one of the streets we take a walk/ride down every morning. We usually leave the house by 8:00 and walk until 9:00 or 9:30 a.m. or before it gets too hot.

Sometimes we're on our way home just as Sean is riding to work. Em screams, "Daddy's riding his bicycle!" He gets so excited seeing Sean after as little as 30 minutes apart. We're definitely in the daddy adoration phase, or maybe this is just life from now until....

Sean is working here at Holy Rosary Healthcare in the outpatient physical therapy department. He really likes the setting and has made some good friends.

We stopped by Sean's work on a Friday afternoon. As always, Emerson was elated to see Daddy. He asked, "This where daddy helps people?"
