Florence, OR

Last weekend we drove about an hour north to Florence, OR to check out the sea lion cave. Built into the hillside just off the highway is an elevator that descends about 400 feet down to an enormous cave. This picture doesn't really show how huge it was; 12-stories tall and about 100 yards wide.

A little slice of heaven for Eli. You can almost see him smiling when he swims.

On our way home from the cave and checking out Florence, we stopped to hike at one of the seemingly endless places to explore. The state dunes stretch from just north of Coos Bay to Florence. They're pretty spectacular.
Quinn needed to stop for a milk break in this meadow. Seemed like a good time for a photo opp. Her she is at 4 1/2 months old.

Emerson relishing in his big brother role, and getting an opportunity for a little head hug.
